The Nigerian cigarette market is relatively small, projected to be 16.5 billion sticks per annum (plus 20%  illicit trade). Nevertheless the cigarette market in Nigeria has been registering continuously strong growth tier-wise; although in volume terms the growth of cigarettes (the dominant category) remained stable.

Distribution Network

BHT has established a network of over 90 depots across the 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. These depots carry exclusively products and serve local wholesalers, semi-wholesalers, and retailers.
